The Company:Our client is a well-respected firm of Insolvency Practitioners based in Warrington, known for providing expert advisory and insolvency services. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Corporate Insolvency Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an insolvency professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role:As a Corporate Insolvency Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality client service. You will support senior management and assist in leading junior staff, helping to drive efficiency and best practices across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including administrations, CVLs, MVLs, and CVAs.

  • Overseeing case progression from initiation to closure, ensuring all statutory and compliance obligations are met.

  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and technical expertise.

  • Liaising with stakeholders including creditors, directors, legal professionals, and regulatory bodies.

  • Preparing reports, financial statements, and other insolvency-related documentation.

  • Conducting investigations into company affairs where necessary.

  • Identifying case risks and implementing appropriate solutions.

  • Assisting with business development initiatives and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate insolvency, ideally at a Senior Administrator or Assistant Manager level.

  • Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience managing a portfolio of cases from start to finish.

  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to support junior staff.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • CPI qualification preferred but not essential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insolvency case management software.

  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with strong attention to detail.
