Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure current and new Members are meeting Company Conduct and Membership rules
  • Make appropriate verification checks for new and existing Member applicants - company & legal entity checks
  • Client money handling assessments
  • Record and maintain records of evidence of membership requirements for the Members’ companies
  • Liaison with Members, requesting certain documentation and information – emails, letter, telephone
  • Record evidence that are relevant to the Members profile such as HMRC registration for Anti-Money laundering, independent redress, ICO and RICS, or law society regulation.
  • Monitor payments due
  • Working closely with the compliance team, take appropriate action where documents received do not meet Conduct and Membership Rules
  • Maintain shared inbox

Candidate Specification:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • A basic understanding of legal entities or property lettings contracts is desirable but not essential
  • Must have customer service skills and experience
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
