Finance Business Partner Hybrid role with regular visits to schools within the trust across Warwick/ Leamington Spa.Full time - 37 hours per week (52 weeks, whole year)Salary to £41k   Our client is a leading Multi Academy Trust who is seeking a Finance Business Partner to play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the trust. The role involves providing advice on financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analysis, and payroll reconciliation. The postholder also ensures compliance with the trust’s financial policies and relevant regulations while assisting in the induction of new schools into the trust.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with schools to prepare annual and multi-year budgets.
  • Support schools in creating monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Produce financial reports for various stakeholders, including headteachers and governors.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Participate in procurement projects to ensure value for money.
  • Induct new schools into financial processes and systems when joining the trust.
Person Specification:
  • Qualifications:CCAB/ CIMA qualified/ part-qualified, or willing to work towards qualification.
  • Experience and Skills:Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting. Competence in financial software and Microsoft Office. Ability to analyse financial data and present findings clearly.
  • Personal Attributes:Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
