You will be redesigning existing products for annual product launches. 聽 聽 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Electronic Design Engineer - Embedded Firmware, R&D, 'C', Test and Measurement Instrumentation 聽 路 Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment. 路 Maintenance of existing product line, e.g. due to component obsolescence, changes in standards, etc
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electronic Design Engineer - Embedded Firmware, R&D, 'C', Test and Measurement Instrumentation 聽 Ideally, you will have a proven track record of Product Design - Electronic, Electrical equipment. This could (for instance) be test and measurement equipment (medical, industrial, commercial etc.), domestic goods, personal electronics amongst many other things. 聽 路 Programming of real time, embedded firmware. 路 Proficiency in C 路 Analogue & digital electronic design. 路 Schematic capture using Altium or similar. 路 Experience of high voltage technology designs 路 Designing products to a set of legal / safety standards. 聽 Any exposure to ST MCU (Micro Controller Unit) design would be an advantage. 聽 THE COMPANY:聽 We're approaching 100 years in business, we're a well-respected manufacturer and brand of portable & hand-held electronic instrumentation.
