Are you an ER Specialist or HR Generalist with strong ER knowledge and expertise? We are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our client's fast-paced and dynamic HR Services team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an immediate start role, covering an increase in workload and sickness absence.

In this role, you will manage a full spectrum of ER cases, providing expert advice and guidance to managers while ensuring compliance with employment law, policies, and best practices. If you're an experienced ER or HR Advisor who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys delivering a high-quality advisory service, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing expert ER advice to managers on all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, and performance management.
  • Managing a caseload of approximately 30 ER cases, including complex employment law challenges.
  • Coaching and mentoring managers, helping them assess risk and make informed decisions.
  • Responding to employee concerns and queries with a customer-focused approach.
  • Drafting outcome letters and supporting tribunal preparation, including case documentation.
  • Delivering ER workshops to upskill managers and improve ER best practices.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping in the HR system and compliance with service level agreements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • ER or HR Advisor with demonstrable experience handling end-to-end ER cases.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its commercial application.
  • Experience writing outcome letters and supporting tribunals.
  • CIPD Level 3-5 (or equivalent) or working towards qualification.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide balanced and constructive advice.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to support and guide managers.
