Finance Business Partner – Remote (candidate to be based in the South of England), Salary up to £60k + car allowance and excellent benefits package, Remote / home based with travel to sites in the South of England. Driving licence essential.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading multi-site business in the modular building hire sector. Applicants will need to be a qualified accountant with experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) / Finance Business Partner role.

The role will support the business in all finance and accounting matters including budgeting, forecasting and cost control and financial analysis. Identifying opportunities and mitigating risk.

Key duties:

  • Finance related support for Senior Leadership teams.
  • Interpretation of monthly management accounts to provide meaningful analysis and commentary against budgets, forecasts and performance.
  • Ownership of specific P&L lines, helping identify cost-saving or margin-enhancing opportunities.
  • Providing analysis and insight to support sales performance, producing monthly reporting packs.
  • Preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, delivering insight and analysis to key stakeholders.
  • FP&A requirements across the P&L covering Sales, Cost of Sales (GPC), Cost to Serve (D&I), SG&A, working capital, and Capex.
  • Challenge, identify opportunities and mitigate risk through financial analysis

Candidate requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA) with experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) / Finance Business Partner role.
  • Excellent analytical skills & ability to manipulate large data sets
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage a diverse set of senior stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and influence at a senior level
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Able to prioritise effectively to focus on high impact activities
  • Strong commercial acumen
