Are you an organised proactive HR professional with at least 1 years’ experience within a HR role looking for a new and exciting opportunity? This role is an initial 6 month contract, in this role you will be working with a family run business with a diverse portfolio of businesses including hotels and fast-food restaurants. As the HR Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring the smooth running of the team. This is a varied role where you’ll be getting stuck into everything from handling HR administration to liaising with internal stakeholders. Location: Watford 4 days per week 1 day per week working from home.What you’ll be doing:
  • Managing the HRIS system and performing day-to-day HR admin tasks
  • Drafting contracts and proof of employment letters
  • Sitting in on disciplinary meetings and taking detailed notes
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to ensure HR processes run efficiently
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
About you:
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR role
  • Is proactive, hands-on, and able to work using their initiative
  • Has excellent stakeholder management skills and is confident communicating across teams
  • Is highly organised and detail-oriented, with a friendly and bubbly personality that fits our company culture
  • Is proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other administrative software
