Site Manager | 55,000 - 65,000 | Hertfordshire | Main Contractor | Permanent

Things have really started cooking in the construction kitchen and our services are in high demand. As are those of a Site Managers. We are urgently looking for one to kick start the management of a new build and fit out education project in leafy Hertfordshire on behalf of this large UK contractor.

Providing a range of specialist design and build capabilities and demonstrating decades of delivery experience, this contractor needs no introduction, but here I am giving you one anyway.

This business is all about the people. Some just say it. Some believe it. Some actually live and breathe it and in my experience, this is one of those companies. An inclusive culture where people are encouraged to think differently and apply new ideas.

So, what do we need? Ideally, a proven Site Manager with leadership experience across a range of projects including education schemes as this is what you will be immediately tasked with; guiding a core team whilst managing a range of sub-contractors to ensure works are carried out to an optimal level. You will possess appropriate technical knowledge and a firm understanding of health and safety regulations to proactively deliver programmes whilst identifying and resolving problems before they become a real issue.

Their expectations are high but the rewards are there and will include amongst other things, a competitive salary, car allowance, 26 days leave, private medical, life assurance, very good pension, volunteering opportunities and a range of other flexible benefits dependent on the needs of the employee.

I would love to talk to you more about this role. Apply now or contact me if it sounds like it might be up your street.
