Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist with acute experience to join our team at Watford General Hospital. This role involves working on rotational wards, managing complex discharges, and conducting cognitive assessments independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and implement occupational therapy interventions for patients in acute care.
- Manage complex discharges, ensuring safe transitions for patients.
- Perform cognitive assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to best practice standards.
Key Requirements:
- A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Proven experience in an acute setting, preferably with rotational ward experience.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage complex cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
