Office Junior

Our client are finance professionals with service their No.1 priority. Regulated by the FCA they are looking to employ a Receptionist / Office Administrator to play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of their office.

As this role will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the organisation, you will be required to ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere whilst contributing to general administrative.

Key duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients
  • Welcome and offer refreshments for visitors
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as required
  • Manage post, both incoming and outgoing
  • Assist in managing and updating the company database
  • Maintain spreadsheets, updating key information
  • Assist with filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
  • Monitor stock of stationery and supplies
  • Prepare for internal meetings
  • Organising lunch for visitors and internal staff events
  • Manage visitor parking
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
  • Ad hoc administration and projects

Personal Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous administration experience preferred, but not essential
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and have a 'can-do’ attitude
  • Good work ethic
