Are you a qualified and experienced SENCO looking for an opportunity to make a real difference? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a special school in Wednesbury who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join their SEN school in Wednesbury on a full-time basis until the end of the summer term.

About the Role:

As a SENCO, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the SEND provision across the school, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive and succeed. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to create inclusive learning opportunities and provide expert guidance on SEND strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and coordinating SEND provision across the school

Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality, inclusive education

Ensuring compliance with EHCPs and statutory requirements

Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals

Leading the SEN team to develop effective interventions and support plans

What We're Looking For:

Qualified SENCO (National Award for SEN Coordination or equivalent)

Experience working within a SEN setting

Strong leadership and organisational skills
