Job Description

One of our clients, a well-established manufacturing company with a rich heritage following a recent merger, is looking for a Hygiene Supervisor. As part of a larger group, they supply the UK's Foodservice, Retail, and B2B sectors, specializing in chilled and frozen products.

Role Overview

  • Supervise and support the hygiene team during shifts, ensuring effective cleaning methods and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Operations team and Hygiene, facilitating clear communication.
  • Ensure adherence to the hygiene cleaning schedule.
  • Oversee daily tasks carried out by hygiene operatives.
  • Plan and manage the cleaning of factory equipment, including tins, racks, and frames.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to the team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Manage staff holidays and absences for the shift.
  • Monitor team performance and competency, identifying training needs where necessary.
  • Attend planning meetings as required.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet operational demands.
