TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project covering Hertfordshire down to East London. They are looking for an experienced Trade Supervisor with social housing experience to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that all social housing refurbishment and responsive work, associated activities for the contract, and all additional works are delivered as per the agreed KPI and SLA. The successful candidate will oversee the onsite engineers in respect of all HR, H&S, and Performance issues and to ensure they are fully aware of the delivery aspect of the contract.
MAIN DUTIES
- Manage the trade team and project scope for the different sites; ensure materials are ordered on time.
- Ability to send quotes for any additional work.
- Assist with the scheduling of Job Packs for Sub-Contractors.
- Review and authorise time sheets and highlight any issues to the Operations Manager before submission.
- Continually monitor all activities on site to ensure that all statutory, regulatory, and contractual compliance is met.
- Obtain and Submit quotes from suppliers in a timely fashion.
- Arrange for Hire Equipment as and when required, i.e., Cherry Pickers/MEWPs/Scaffolding and any other plant required.
- Carry out periodic checks of operatives to ensure that they are fully compliant, and all tickets are up to date.
- Supervising all trades on the job.
- Supporting on technical issues.
- Dealing with clients and tenants.
- Monitoring H&S and workstreams.
- Signing off completed works.
Pay: £38'000 Per annum
Company vehicle, fuel card, purchase card etc. provided.
Hours: Monday – Friday
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Qualified engineering trade background
- Management and supervisory experience
- Experience managing sub-contractors on social housing and void contracts.
- Full UK driving license.
- SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred).
