Procurement & Planning Executive

Location: Welwyn Garden City (3/4 days per week)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Are you an experienced procurement professional with a background in FMCG and a passion for food manufacturing? We're looking for a Procurement & Planning Executive to join a food manufacturing business in Welwyn Garden City. You will take ownership of sourcing, supplier management, and demand planning for their UK based manufacturing site.

In this key position, you will manage a portfolio of suppliers for raw materials, ensuring cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards. You will also oversee demand and production planning, balancing stock levels to meet customer demand while optimising supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and manage suppliers for raw materials, ensuring competitive costs and quality compliance.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and driving performance.
  • Manage production and demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring procurement inflation remains within agreed targets.
