Mobile powered access engineer required. Our client is an established provider of powered access and other hire equipment across England and is requiring an engineer to service and maintain powered access equipment based from their depot in West Bromwich to cover the surrounding areas. It would be desirable for the engineer to have CAP qualification but not essential.
Driving licence required for this role.
Mobile Powered Access Engineer Position Overview
- Maintaining, servicing and examining powered access equipment
- This is a mobile based role to cover the West Bromwich area.
- Conduct PDI's, LOLER's and small repairs
- Ongoing support development of your career
- Keeping service and maintenance records up to date
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop and on site
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance work
Mobile Powered Access Engineer Position Requirements
- Experience and knowledge in a similar role would be beneficial
- The ideal candidate will have experience within the access, crane, forklift or motor industry along with a mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background.
- It would be a benefit if the candidate was CAP trained or equivalent in order to carry out six monthly inspections but this isn't essential.
- IPAF CAP training desirable but not essential
- UK driving licence essential
Mobile Powered Access Engineer Position Remuneration
- £35,000-£42,000 (Dependant on experience)
- 8:00-17:00 working hours
- Mobile and fuel card provided
- Company vehicle
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
