Our client, a well-known service within the education sector are currently recruiting for a Staffing Officer to join their team. As a Staffing Officer, you will face many duties such as supporting the business with allocating kitchen cover, maintaining accurate records of confidential information and much more.

Job responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Working alongside the Duty Manager to achieve daily deadlines.
  • Organize and allocate staff to kitchens to cover staff absence/sickness.
  • Decision-making based on specialist knowledge of kitchens, staffing requirements and health and safety requirements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for kitchen-based staff, schools and other catering team staff, in relation to sickness/absence.
  • Keep accurate and updated databases.

The ideal candidate:

  • Administration experience.
  • Great timekeeping/ organization skills.
  • Familiar with computer systems.
  • Great team player.
