Drug and Alcohol Keyworker

Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading charity based in Sandwell, Birmingham who are looking for a Drug and Alcohol Keyworker to join their team and work on a 3-month contract with a possible extension.

As a Drug and Alcohol Keyworker, you will be at the forefront of providing essential support to individuals battling substance misuse. Your expertise will guide them towards recovery, fostering hope and resilience. Within your role you will be covering the duty desk which involves taking calls and signposting to relevant teams, dealing with walk ins and other general queries whilst offering expert advise surrounding drug and alcohol queries. You will not hold a caseload within this role.

The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of substance misuse issues and the complexities surrounding addiction. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating your ability to manage caseloads effectively and provide tailored support plans. Strong communication skills are paramount, enabling you to build trust and rapport with service users, their families, and other professionals.
