Immediate Opening for an Enthusiastic SEMH Teacher in Westbury!

Straight to Permanent - 30'680 - 37'440 pa

Are you a talented and motivated SEMH Teacher ready to embark on a rewarding journey? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team starting as soon as possible!

Students will be taught in small groups and 1:1. They will come together for whole-school enrichment where a sense of family and belonging will be nurtured. All students will follow a core curriculum, and this will be supplemented by a range of subjects which will enable students to thrive.

We have an experienced group of staff who want the very best for the students and put them at the centre of all that they do. We are creative and will strive to deliver a holistic learning programme to allow students to find and harness their talents. We will access a range of community amenities and organisations to support this journey.

Position: SEMH Teacher

Location: Westbury

SEND: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)

Contract: Straight to Perm.

Notice: Is considered for the right candidate, ideally an ASAP start, but next-term start understood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to a diverse group of students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment promoting academic growth and personal development.
  • Create and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of students at various skill levels.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, encouraging a love for literature and language.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and interactive classroom atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching at the secondary level is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and assessment processes.
  • Strong behaviour management skills
