- Managing and overseeing a team of property condition surveyors ensuring quality and safety of customers’ homes, working to their £1billion 30-year investment plan and our decarbonisation programmes
- Act as a point of technical reference for the Property Condition and Asset Management teams.
- Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and guidance.
- Ensure quality and volume of surveys and assessments including training, spot checking, benchmarking and desktop validation.
- Identify trends with property issues and suggest resolutions with programmed delivery.
- Promote professional development for team members. Hold regular one-to-one meetings with team members.
- Undertake internal and external property condition surveys against set criteria, specifically the Decent Homes Standard and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
- Ensure appropriate property energy efficiency data is collected during surveys to enable the calculation of SAP ratings.
- Assess and advise on appropriate energy efficiency measures in accordance with PAS 2035.
- Ensure surveyors work safely and within the health and safety requirements.
- Promote a culture of openness, consumer focus, high performance delivery and accountability in which colleagues share a common sense of purpose and are encouraged to use their own initiative.
- Identify potential improvements in the delivery of the surveying service.
- Effectively manage, plan, investigate and resolve complaints in accordance with the complaint’s procedure.

- Professional qualification in Property Surveying (RICS / CIOB / CABE or equivalent) or willing to work towards
