We are a looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Weybridge! As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in making this vision come to life.
Key Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
- Support the planning and delivery of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring a stimulating and engaging environment for the children.
- Build strong relationships with the children and their families, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Observe and assess children’s progress and development, keeping accurate and up-to-date records.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, supporting colleagues and encouraging a positive atmosphere.
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning, with attention to hygiene and health and safety regulations.
- Promote positive behavior and provide support to children as needed, helping to build their social and emotional skills.
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play.
What We’re Looking For in an Early Years Practitioner:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (preferred).
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (preferred).
- Passion for providing high-quality care and education in a homely, nurturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- A caring, patient, and understanding approach to working with young children.
