Are you an experienced Private Client Lawyer looking for a new challenge? Join our highly respected and established Private Client team, recognized by The Legal 500 for our expertise in wills and estate planning. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload and work independently with minimal supervision.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters including:
    • Wills, drafting documents, deeds, and letters.
    • Estate and tax (mainly inheritance tax) planning advice.
    • Administration of estates for lay executors and professional executors.
    • Trust advice and preparation.
    • Powers of attorney preparation and registration.
    • General private client matters (excluding conveyancing work).
  • Provide estate and tax planning advice tailored to the needs of individual clients.
  • Advise on the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Prepare and register powers of attorney, ensuring all legal standards are met.
  • Offer general private client advice, supporting clients through various legal processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in private client law, with a strong background in estate and tax planning.
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to relate to clients of all levels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to support, supervise, and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, ensuring clear and effective client communication.
