Assure Personnel are pleased to be supporting a local company to hire a talented and experienced Finance Business Partner. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with various departments to provide financial insights, enhance performance, and support decision-making across our group of companies.

Business Partnering:

  • Work alongside department heads to deliver valuable financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and drive business performance.
  • Cultivate strong relationships within the organisation, acting as the main point of contact for finance-related matters.
  • Attend weekly management meetings and participate in quarterly off-site strategy sessions.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring they align with the organisation's overall strategic objectives.
  • Provide detailed financial reports each month, including variance analysis and KPI tracking.
  • Assist various business areas in understanding their financial performance, identifying potential areas for cost savings and revenue growth.

Financial Modelling and Scenario Planning:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the potential impact of different business initiatives, projects, and risks.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, performance dashboards, and variance analyses to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (e.g. Sage / Excel).
  • Proven track record as a Finance Business Partner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage competing priorities.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
