Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Ocean Export Operator to join their office in Wickford.
We are ideally looking for a candidate with 1-2 years export sea freight experience, however full training will be offered for the right candidate.
Main duties will include:
Quotations
Negotiating rates with shipping companies
Taking bookings for export shipments
Following the loading process and liaising with the load sites if any shipments run behind schedule
Completing export customs entries & VGM
Preparing export documentation
Invoicing files
The candidate should have:
Experience of Sea freight exports
Attention to detail.
Must seek to build good relationships with customers.
Good customer service and telephone manner.
Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
MultiFreight experience desirable
