Randstad is recruiting a teacher to work in a resource base within a mainstream primary school. The base specialises in ASD and you will be responsible for teaching a small class of around 8 pupils at any given time. The provision is staffed with experienced teaching assistants making this one of the most established and well staffed provisions in Halton.

The school has excellent resources, it has created a friendly school environment which is led by a forward thinking and passionate SLT.

Requirements:

  • You must have current experience working with SEN pupils either in a mainstream school or specialist provision
  • Be confident in planning your own lessons around the curriculum
  • Provide a caring and nurturing experience for all pupils in the classroom.

To register for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a qualified teacher (The school will consider ECT)
  • Hold, or be willing to carry out, an enhanced DBS
  • Be able to provide professional references to cover you for at least 12 months within the last 2 years
  • Have a flexible, can-do approach
  • All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
