ACR is partnering with a market-leading business based in Wigan to recruit a Partnership Development Executive on a full-time and permanent basis. This opportunity offers excellent benefits, including a huge 36 days of annual leave, flexible hours, 100% hybrid working, free parking, and uncapped commission.

About the Company:

Our client is a marketing company that specialises in offering exclusive discounts to members by partnering with leading brands such as JD Sports, Apple, Hotpoint, and Boohoo. The primary focus of this role is to develop new partnerships with brands that can offer discounts to members, creating a win-win scenario: brands benefit through sales, and the client earns a commission only when the brand partner succeeds. This makes it a more consultative, relationship-driven position than a typical business development role.

What's on Offer:

  • Base salary of £33,000 or above, depending on experience - plus uncapped commission
  • 36 days annual leave (28 days holiday + 8 bank holidays)
  • Flexible hours: Start between 7:30-9:30 AM, finish between 3:30-5:30 PM; extra hours worked can be taken off Friday
  • Hybrid working: Must attend the office once per month, otherwise up to 5 days remote
  • Free onsite parking
  • Enhanced pension scheme
  • Access to an exclusive discount platform

Your Responsibilities:

As a key player in the business development team, you will focus on building strategic partnerships that drive new business opportunities and long-term growth for the company. Unlike traditional business development roles, this position involves limited cold calling, with most outreach conducted via email and warm leads.

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, securing exclusive discounts for members
  • Manage a pipeline of warm leads, utilising email outreach and minimal cold calling
  • Conduct video calls and online meetings to present partnership opportunities and negotiate terms
  • Analyse competitor data to ensure the company stays competitive in terms of partners and discounts offered
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as the Partnerships Team, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners
  • Negotiate commercial terms and discount levels that benefit both the partner and members
  • Stay up to date on market trends to identify new opportunities

Who We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or client acquisition
  • Strong negotiation skills, especially in variable pricing scenarios
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Positive, friendly, and collaborative attitude
