Team Manager | MASH

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for safeguarding children and young people?

We have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Team Manager to join the Children's Integrated Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Wigan area. The Team Manager will have direct responsibility for managing social workers and referral coordinators within the team. You'll work closely with partners from police, health, education, early help, and other key agencies to ensure that all referrals to children's social care are triaged effectively and signposted to the appropriate services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional supervision and guidance to social workers in the team.
• Oversee complex assessments and ensure that best practice is followed.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and young people.
• Develop and support practitioners in refining their skills and expertise.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:

• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role within children's services.
• BSc in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
• Social Work England registration.
• Experience in supervising social workers and managing complex cases
