In this role you would be developing new products on a lab scale.
The Company:
Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Standish, near Wigan.
R&D Chemist Role:
Your main duties will include:
- Experimental R&D work according to a manual.
- Laboratory sample preparation.
- Testing and evaluation of raw materials and products.
- Equipment calibration.
- Report generation and ensuring all work is recorded.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Chemistry diploma or degree (HNC/BTEC, at least level 4 equivalent, or degree).
- Experience working in a busy laboratory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
