Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term role? We are seeking a qualified English Teacher (QTS required) to join our team and inspire students across KS3 and KS4.
We are working with a Secondary School in Wigan who are looking for someone after the Easter Break to cover a maternity cover.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan and assess effectively to ensure student progress
- Foster a love for literature, language, and creative writing
- Support students of all abilities, ensuring inclusive learning
- Contribute to the wider school community and department initiatives
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
- Is a passionate educator with strong subject knowledge
- Can create an engaging and supportive learning environment
- Has excellent communication and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
