Our client an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior to join their team in Winchester.

This can be a full or part-time role around 25-30 hours.

The position will involve dealing with all aspects of accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients including Sole Traders, Limited Companies and Partnerships ranging from start-ups through to multi million pound operations

Key duties will include:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts from incomplete records or from a client’s bookkeeping software package
  • Corporation tax
  • Payroll
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required

They are ideally looking for someone with previous practice experience of at least 2-3 years and who hold or are working towards a professional qualification such as AAT, ACCA/ACA and study support will be provided if required. You will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

A good understanding of software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Brightpay would also be an advantage.
