Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a prestigious SME, based in Winchester, in their search for an Interim Financial Controller on a 12 month contract to cover a secondment in the team.Salary - £46-52,000 p/aOn-site working - free parkingKey Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of month-end and year-end up accounts up to trial balance.
- Preparation of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations as required, journals and ledger maintenance.
- Monthly reconciliation of the prepayments & accruals
- In-depth checking of monthly accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Producing monthly management accounts, including commentary & strategic review for Board level.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) OR QBE
- A good understanding of VAT and tax matters.
- Ability to prepare and report on financial reports & management accounts to a high level of detail.
- Sound knowledge of accounting software applications, particularly Sage Accounts.
