About the Role
In this key position, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care and safety for residents. With the General Manager overseeing multiple sites, this role is ideal for someone confident in independent leadership and decision-making to enhance quality and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate care teams to provide exceptional resident support.
- Ensure smooth operations, meeting health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
- Mentor staff and promote professional development.
- Monitor quality standards to ensure CQC compliance.
- Tackle operational challenges and resolve issues promptly.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a care setting.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation.
- Confident decision-maker, especially in the manager's absence.
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 4, 5, or equivalent).
