Our organisation is seeking a Head of HR to join a public sector organisation in Hampshire which is embarking on a major transformation. We are looking for an experienced Strategic HR professional who will work with the Chief Executive to lead their approach to people and supporting the organisation through transformational change. Key Responsibilities
- As a Head of HR you will be working with the Executive team on all aspects of the People Strategy, professional HR guidance and transformational change.
- Lead the delivery of organisational change to a new organisational model, leading all senior stakeholders including unions, ensuring all HR matters are in place for transfer (TUPE) or similar.
- Leading & Managing a small HR team to ensure a proactive and professional HR service.
- Driving forward process improvement and innovation with an open and inclusive approach.
- Remain abreast of HR legislation changes and keep senior management updated and appropriate policy and procedures
CandidatesWe are seeking experienced HR professionals with a background of leading HR teams and supporting organisations through significant transformational change.
- Previous experience of complex public sector & unionised environments.
- Experience of large-scale change including staff transfer, organisational design, harmonisation of terms and conditions, negotiation with Unions and tackling cultural change.
- Proven track record of leadership within senior management.
- Empowering, enabling, and motivating approach with evidence of visible and supportive leadership
- Member of CIPD, Ideally Chartered
- Degree or equivalent experience
