Contracts Manager

Are you a highly skilled and driven Contracts Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality projects? Coulter Elite Resourcing is currently looking for a Contracts Manager to join a successful company based in Windsor. As a key member of the senior management team, you will lead contract administration and project management activities, ensuring the simultaneous delivery of multiple projects to the highest standards.

Job Description:

  • Lead and oversee contract administration and project management activities across multiple projects
  • Ensure all sites maintain the highest possible Health and Safety standards, adhering to relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies
  • Act as the primary client contact, representing the company consistently and positively while managing stakeholder relationships
  • Develop and implement project strategies with a focus on commercial proposition, programme activities, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Conduct regular site visits to support the site team, chair meetings, and monitor progress
  • Oversee project planning, ensuring detailed construction programmes are agreed upon and understood by all stakeholders
  • Manage projects with a total value of 5-8m per financial year, ensuring efficient resource allocation and budget control
  • Ensure compliance with contract forms, including the JCT suite, and manage all necessary statutory and regulatory consents
  • Lead design review meetings with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, driving continuous project improvement
  • Ensure the quality control process is robust, with works meeting contract specifications at all times
  • Manage internal project teams, including design, contract administration, finance, and site staff, ensuring smooth project delivery
  • Monitor and report on project costs, risks, and procurement schedules, ensuring project milestones are met and client invoicing is up-to-date
  • Ensure all projects are delivered snag-free and on time, with practical completion certificates and final accounts issued promptly
  • Lead the post-project close-out process, ensuring feedback is provided to internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in managing contract administration and project delivery within the commercial fit-out or construction industry
  • Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Experience with managing multiple projects and budgets, with a track record of successful project outcomes
  • Proficiency in managing contracts, particularly with JCT forms
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, with strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and responsive to project demands and changes
  • Key certifications such as SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, Fire Marshal, and Asbestos Awareness are required
