Key Responsibilities:

  • Youll be responsible for effectively handling and converting weddings and special events enquiries from initial stages through to final details, followed by the accurate communication of client requirements to the Operational team.
  • Youll drive the weddings and events sales strategy forward through implementing sales and marketing initiatives to increase sales and achieve targets.
  • Conduct show rounds for weddings and special events, ensuring that correct information is given to the appropriate enquiry.
  • Assist with organisation of Wedding Showcases to highlight the property to the local wedding and banqueting market.

What do you need to qualify for this role?

  • Experience in Weddings and Events planning and conversion with a hotel or weddings/events venue.
  • You are passionate about events and prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for their guests.
  • Forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and our valued guests through your excellent communication skills.
  • You are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided.
