We are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors for senior/intermediate roles, focusing on delivering capital projects within the pharma industry or similar regulated environments. This is not a graduate development opportunity but a role for professionals who can provide efficient and effective Quantity Surveying services throughout the project lifecycle.
Day-to-day of the role:- Act as the main point of contact for all SAP/CATs and Capital Approval System queries.
- Interface with the Finance Department to respond to all project portfolio queries.
- Manage the general administration of contracts using the client’s CEMAR contract management system.
- Participate in project reviews, audits, and conduct self-assessments to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Support the production of ITT documents, manage the tender assessment process, and review negotiations with the supply chain.
- Validate and certify payments in line with contract terms and conditions, raise payment certificates, and complete Service Entry Numbers (SENs) under SAP.
- Evaluate and agree on the value of approved variations to the contract.
- Provide monthly Anticipated Final Cost (AFC) forecasts and Value of Work Done (VoWD) reports.
- Lead and undertake detailed cost audits as required by contract arrangements.
- Conclude the Final Account for supply chain contracts in accordance with contract terms.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within UK regulated industries.
- Proficient in SAP and CEMAR systems.
- Strong understanding of NEC4 Contracts and their management.
- Ability to lead independent project and contract performance reviews.
- Skilled in the evaluation of contract variations and potential disputes.
- Excellent communication and interfacing skills.
