Monday-Friday Double Days - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pmEssex
Commutable from - Braintree, Witham, Chelmsford, Basildon, Wickford, Harlow, Brentwood
£32,000 + Overtime

Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer, part of a larger group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to further investment in the site, they are looking for an experienced Gluer Machine Operator to join their production team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To assist in the manufacture of quality packaging to high print specifications
- Operating a multi-point gluer machine
- Machine setting both via a computer and manually
- Checking print quality and that the product in made correctly
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery
- Minimise downtime by forward planning to ensure materials are available
- Ensure that all records are maintained and quality reports complete
- Take dimensional measurements and make sure they meet product specifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must be an experience machine operator and setter
- Previously have worked in a manufacturing sector
- Good team player, able to work on own initiative and part of a team
- Knowledge of health & safety and quality control
- Good attention to detail when checking dimensions and product specifications
- Forklift Licence would be beneficial
- Need to be physically fit
- Must have good computer skills - use of systems and completing paperwork
- Ideally have experience of basic machine maintenance
- Strong organisational skills
