Are you a Band 5 Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Essex? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay!

  • Job Title: Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
  • Location: Essex
  • Duration: 6-month contract
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (30-minute break)
  • Start Date: April 2025
  • End Date: October 2025

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our clients team as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting patient care within a private hospital setting. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct medicines reconciliation and support safe prescribing practices
  • Provide expert advice on medication management to healthcare professionals and patients
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and stock control
Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid GPhC registration
  • Prior hospital experience as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. The contract is for 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
