We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Management & Procurement Manager to join a dynamic team in Woking. In this pivotal role, you will manage supplier and customer orders, ensure the seamless flow of procurement processes, and work towards optimising inventory management while driving cost efficiencies. Main Responsibilities:

Supplier Order Management:

  • Oversee procurement processes and manage supplier relationships to ensure a smooth supply chain.
  • Implement procurement systems to enhance process efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Manage inventory levels, demand forecasts, and consumption patterns to optimise stock levels.
  • Perform regular audits and supplier evaluations to maintain high standards of quality and performance.

Customer Order Management:

  • Supervise the daily order processing and invoicing, ensuring swift and accurate service.
  • Generate and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports/KPIs to management.
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for order-related inquiries.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various teams to implement best practices in order management.
  • Make data-driven decisions and offer suggestions for process improvements.
  • Manage logistics and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective importation.

Personal Profile:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make key decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and administrative abilities.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a positive attitude toward change and improvement.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a purchasing or order management manager
  • 2+ years of experience of team management
  • Fluency in Japanese is highly advantageous but not a necessity
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices.
  • Strong skills in planning, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and supply chain inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of customer order (sales administration) management
  • Knowledge of local and international logistics including custom clearance and incoterms
  • Experience with global sourcing.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
  • Computer literacy, use of Microsoft Office. Word, Power-point
