Our client, one of the UK's leading Sports Equipment Suppliers, are looking to recruit a sports-loving, experienced Account Manager to join them in a senior capacity. Based in a fantastic office in Surrey, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate!Our client have been established for close to 25 years, and manufacture/distribute sporting equipment to clients from amateur to professional level. They are incredibly well-known in their field, and also operate across Europe and the US. Given their growth, they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to join them on a permanent basis, inheriting a portfolio of c/300 B2B clients and managing each account, in addition to developing new business. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Achieving sales targets/expectations against all accounts - Offering a very consultative/bespoke solution to each client- Growing and developing existing accounts (conducting regular business reviews), in addition to developing completely new business clients - Attending sales meetings/corporate events/trade shows and sports festivals as required- Acting as the key interface between the customer(s) and the company - Completing accurate and timely sales reports- Ensuring all client information on company CRM is accurate and aligned with the current situation(s)- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfactionGiven the potential for growth in the business/this role, further responsibilities will also include:- Supporting the Sales Director in ensuring the wider sales team exceed margin/budget targets- Taking a lead role in running sales team meetingsIn order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Account Management/B2B Sales capacity- Strong account management and relationship-building skills- Genuine interest/passion for sports (in particular, Rugby or Cricket!)- Motivation to exceed sales targets/expectations, and make additional money in commission- Fun, sociable personality- Full UK driving licenceIn addition to a very competitive starting basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000, our client are also offering the following:- Up to £15,000 in bonuses (£60,000 OTE)- Hybrid working (4 days a week in the office / 1 day a week working from home)- Fantastic working hours: Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5.30pm)- Free parking in their Surrey office (Send)Our client are looking to move very quickly on this, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
