An opportunity has arisen for an additional member of staff to join a well-established Charity. In this role you will provide specific guidance and support to members including those who are facing specific challenges. The role requires an individual who is committed to providing an excellent standard of 'customer' service based upon professionalism, accuracy and promptness in response and involves the following:

  • Being part of a positive and proactive team within a culture of great customer service.
  • You will be friendly, warm and approachable, flexible and a team player.

You will work within the Membership Services team of 3, based in Wokingham, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm. There is potential for hybrid working if desirable, salary up to £32,800 depending on experience plus benefits.

Please note: The office will be relocating to Windsor. Therefore the ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance of Wokingham and Windsor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage events for member charities
  • Responding to member enquiries adding support by phone or email
  • Completing a Charity Health Check with members covering all aspects of their running
  • Supporting charities in difficulty, whilst maintaining communication at all times with the Head of Member Services
  • Helping identify those charities where direct support is required
  • Providing administration support and assisting with arrangements for events

Key Requirements

  • Strong IT skills, with previous experience using MS Excel
  • Experience of managing projects and/or events preferable
  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal
  • Experience working within a charity beneficial but not a must
  • Highly organised and able to multitask
