Orka Financial has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a well known company based in Reading. Working within a busy credit control environment reporting into the Credit Control Manager interacting with other team members and internal teams managing customer accounts.The Credit Control role requires a confident individual who has previous experience within a credit position.Responsibilities

  • Allocation of cash, reconciliation and ensure debtor notes are kept up to date and maintained.
  • Handle disputed accounts and negotiate to resolution.
  • Provide debtor commentary for calls with the stakeholders.
  • Monitor the status of large unpaid invoices to assist the company’s cash flow.
  • Prepare accounts with supporting evidence for legal process.
  • Liaise with the sales order processing team to ensure that all customer details are up to date and correct.
  • Maintain accurate individual measurement and performance statistics in line with team SLA’s.
  • Produce credit notes.
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience

  • Experience within Credit Control.
  • Proven experience of operating in a large volume / low value credit control environment.
  • Confident, persuasive and clear communicator.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
