Overview: Our esteemed client is currently in search of an experienced Workshop Operative to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling joints.
- Finishing tasks such as sanding and applying patterns.
- Priming painting surfaces.
- Installing hardwood lipping's and rebates.
- Treating hardwood lipping's with Osmo.
- Matching, sizing, and cutting veneers.
- Sanding door faces and veneers.
- Installing glazing and window beads.
- Checking specification sheets for required ironmongery.
- Installing ironmongery.
- Pre-hanging doors in the workshop prior to dispatch to ensure a perfect fit on site.
- Familiarizing yourself with upcoming jobs.
- Identifying and addressing potential discrepancies to prevent manufacturing delays.
- Regularly reviewing and checking sizes and specifications against the product being worked on to avoid errors early in the process.
