Reed Finance is excited to partner exclusively with a fast-growing company in search for a Finance Director. This ambitious business, with an acquisition mindset, is on track to see its turnover soar to over £20m following a period of profitable growth.
Day to day of the role:- Report directly to the Managing Director and serve as a vital member of the senior management team.
- Oversee a finance team to produce highly accurate monthly accounts and reports, leveraging this data to drive business performance.
- Act as a key ambassador for the company, supporting commercial activities and contributing to leadership decisions.
- Play an active leadership role in the continued success of the company, with daily interactions with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, adequate financial controls, and efficient processes.
- Influence every aspect of the business running, including IT, HR, banking, and accounting relationships.
- Engage in contract negotiations, capital expenditure evaluation, and the structuring of finance agreements and commercial contracts.
- Proven experience as a qualified Finance Director.
- Experience within the manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
- Ability to manage and lead a finance team effectively.
- Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Experience in commercial activities and contract negotiations.
