Day-to-day of the role:
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and queries.
  • Recruitment: Coordinate job postings, shortlist CVs, and manage the interview process.
  • Inductions: Conduct initial onboarding sessions for new hires.
  • Sickness and Absence Management: Oversee and manage employee absences.
  • Training: Source new training providers and ensure mandatory training is completed.
  • Disciplinary & Grievance Procedures: Manage and coordinate disciplinary and grievance procedures effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous HR experience within the construction sector.
  • Good working knowledge of employment law.
  • Excellent communication skills.
