- At least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related field.
- A passion for the education of young learners with additional learning needs.
- Adaptable and flexible personality.
- Natural ability to build strong bonds with young pupils.
- Some understanding of special educational needs.
- Previous experience of supporting pupils, or working in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Providing 1:1 and small group interventions to KS1 and KS2 pupils with slight autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.
- Working in close collaboration with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Adapting learning materials to suit the individual needs of each pupil.
- Participating in activities with the wider school community.
