We are looking for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our clients team. The role involves managing purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, and other finance-related tasks. This position is ideal for someone with Sage 50 systems experience who is looking for a part-time opportunity in a fully office-based environment.

Day to day of the role:
  • Handling purchase ledger activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Managing sales ledger, including issuing invoices and following up on payments.
  • Overseeing credit control processes to ensure prompt payment and minimise overdue accounts.
  • Performing various ad hoc finance tasks as required to support the finance team.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a finance role, particularly with purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
  • Proficiency in using Sage 50 accounting software.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent numerical skills and a good understanding of financial processes.
