Reed Finance is seeking a Financial Accountant for a leading Engineering company's Shared Service Centre, offering a home-based role with monthly team meet-ups in Worcester.
The position requires a qualified Financial Accountant or a first mover from Practice with previous Shared Service Centre experience.
Key responsibilities include preparing UK management accounts, budgeting, month-end reporting, and handling IFRS16 lease accounting entries.
The role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum and provides excellent benefits and opportunities for progression.
Candidates should have relevant experience in financial accounting and be prepared to assist with various financial reporting and analysis tasks.

Reed Finance are working with a leading Engineering company to recruit a Financial Accountant for their Shared Service Centre.

This is a home-based role, with monthly team meet-ups in Worcester.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of UK management accounts and analysing variances.
Preparing budget and forecast information for UK costs.
Month end reporting.
Prepare journals and reconcile IFRS16 lease accounting entries.
Preparing budget and forecast information for IFRS 16 lease accounting.
Maintain UK intercompany loans and issue monthly loan summary.
Assist with the monthly inter-company reconciliation process.
Assistance with the preparation of annual corporation tax packs for 18 statutory companies.
Preparation of analysis and reports for Tax, Treasury and Sector Finance departments.
Analysis and submission of related party transactions.
Preparation of data for the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Supporting the Assistant Accountant in their day-to-day activities.

This role would suit a first mover from Practice or a Qualified Financial Accountant with previous SSC experience.
