OCS is currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our passionate and driven team in Worcestershire

This Hard Services opportunity within our Technical Services division involves you joining our national mobile engineering division where you will work within a region on a variety of public and private sector contracts with a variety of buildings such as industrial, commercial, admin, leisure and retails sites. This will give you exposure to continue to develop your skills and contribute to the success of a growing team as we bring more contracts online

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • To undertake maintenance duties as required, making sure all reports are accurately completed within specific time frames.
  • To produce accurate documentation as required and keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections.
  • Undertake minor quoted works from the initial outset, through installation to completion as required whilst completing all required test certification.
  • Ensuring all employees are aware of their obligations under the OCS Health & Safety policy.

About You:

  • Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
  • Prerequisite - NVQ or City & Guilds in the following: Gas / Plumbing / Mechanical Services.
  • Experience working within Facilities Management / Building Services.
  • Good team member with excellent communications skills with all levels of the workforce.
  • Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation.
  • First Aid.
  • CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
  • Must have domestic and commercial gas qualifications.
  • On Call will be required
  • DBS Check Required
  • TCPC1 Preferable

This position will require security clearance as a contractual requirement.
