My client is a leading international manufacturer in a safety critical industry. Due to a combination of a full order book and investment they are looking to improve the efficiency of their Toolroom by appointing a dedicated Process Engineer to drive efficiencies.
As a Process Engineer (Toolroom) you will be concerned with making the Toolroom as efficient as possible. This might include projects based around
- Refining and improving existing processes / paperwork
- Supplier rationalisation and re negotiation
- Production process improvement (e.g. better machines, more efficient tool paths, improving training for operatives etc)
- Being a significant voice in wider site CI / NPI (for example SMED, 5Ys FMEA)
In order to thrive in the role of Process Engineer (Toolroom) you will need
- A suitable engineering qualification (Mechanical, Toolroom or Industrial)
- A passion for process improvement
- Relevant toolroom experience (Moulding, Pressing, Patternmaking, Casting or similar)
In return for fulfilling the role of Process Engineer (Toolroom) my client can offer generous salary of up to £40,000 per annum. Perhaps more important is the opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in a key project led role and really make a name for yourself.
