Job Title: Product Developer

Location: Worcester

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: Monday Friday 37.5 hours per week

Duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

Responsible for the creation of detailed product specifications.

Carry out research into market trends, customer requirements and benchmarking to identify future opportunities

Analyse sales data to inform new product development to make sure product is viable in terms of cost, profit, and time

Assist in presenting at sales meetings and product sign off.

Collaborate with suppliers, and manufacturers to refine designs and source materials.

Manage the sampling process and coordinate fabric testing.

Assist Marketing with technical support and ensure it is delivered in line with the launch plan.

Skills and Experience needed:

A degree in fashion and textiles would be advantageous

Previous experience within a similar product designer role would be beneficial

You must possess both a creative flair and technical curiosity.

Experience of Adobe design package, especially Adobe Illustrator for garment flat CADs.

Knowledge of textile performance.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate with global team.

Skilled in coordinating multiple projects running alongside each other and attention to detail to look for process efficiencies and cost saving opportunities
